Raíces & Threads was created by Maximiliano Oceguera as a way to stay connected to what has always mattered most—heritage, culture, and the beauty of handmade artistry. Born and raised in Jalisco, the home of mariachi, Max grew up surrounded by music, tradition, and a deep appreciation for the details that make Mexican culture so rich and meaningful.
Over time, that appreciation grew into something more intentional. With deep respect for the indigenous communities and skilled artisans across Mexico, Raíces & Threads became a small effort to help honor and share their work. Each piece is not just something to wear, but something to feel connected to—a reflection of history, patience, and the hands that carefully bring it to life.
